Of course, that begins with concerns about the security of financial information and of the transactions themselves - but usability has to be in there. If the user can't figure out how to start and complete the transactions that they need to do, they are not going to have any trust in the banking website interface."

Over the years, Interpix went on to work on financial website design for financial organizations as diverse as Fleet and BMO, at the same time continuing a good working relationship with TD through its name change to TD Canada Trust.

One recent financial website design project undertaken at Interpix was the redesign of the domestic branch customer service platform for RBC Financial Group, one of North America's leading diversified financial services companies. This particular financial website design was even tested on RBC's own customer service representatives who had critical input on features and usability of the interface. The customer service staff played the role of banking client using a paper prototype of the website redesign. Not only did this help achieve a usable client-friendly banking interface but the customer service staff was already familiarized with the new site.

The new interface was launched successfully, ready for customers to use and understood by customer service staff.
