After a highly competitive bidding process, Interpix was chosen to partner with the AIR MILES team. Our task was to evaluate and define the next generation of the airmiles.ca website with these objectives:
to simplify browsing and search functions for collectors
increase reward redemption
increase miles collected
educate collectors on ways to increase mileage
reduce service center costs
increase advertising revenue
Simply put, our mandate was to make the web easier to use than other service channels, so that collectors could enjoy accessing their account information online, learn all about AIR MILES partners' offerings and redeem rewards easily without needing live support. All of these user-centered goals were in line with the company's business objectives to increase reward redemption, build more strategic partnerships with suppliers and advertisers and reduce the costs of the service center.
