The CTC website, travelcanada.ca, targets multiple user groups - both foreign and domestic travel agencies, tour operators, government bodies and the media. The original website contained a wide variety of information, both textual and graphical, that was aimed at each of these multiple target audiences. The result: information overload that presented a challenge for users who struggled to find the valuable travel information that they were searching for.
Interpix Design Inc was hired to provide an expert heuristic evaluation of the travelcanada.ca website, to perform usability testing and to make recommendations on the site's redesign. The goal: to design an intuitive and useful framework that creates a user interface with clear and consistent site navigation, visual design and content organization.
