City of Hamilton Case Study

City of Hamilton Success

City of Hamilton

Rapid field usability study evaluates wireless and other solutions in health care sector.

Client Situation Approach Success

We listened and watched while frontline workers did their jobs. And we learned a lot.

We learned that protecting the public's health can be a daunting task and anything we can do to make it simpler, is a good thing.

We believe our recommendations did just that. It made life easier for hospital infection control practitioners and gave the city's public health division essential information needed to protect the community from any future infectious disease.

This usability project was eventually presented at the Mednet 2006 conference in Toronto as "A usability study to evaluate the suitability of a portable wireless solution for Infection Control Practitioners"

Convenient reporting. Timely information. A scalable design.

Another simply useful™ user centered design.
