The new Viva system has its own website, independent of the region's main transit site. At the time, the site contained mainly marketing and general information about the new rapid transit service but did not provide specific route, fare and schedule information. Viva riders in search of information, had to visit the main York Region transit site, instead of the Viva site, resulting in frustration and confusion, particularly because the Viva site was advertised on buses and on bus shelters.

Interpix was brought in to resolve this confusion by giving transit riders a one-stop, quick click to all the information they needed to use both of region's transit systems and ultimately boost ridership.
